For some items you will need the shotgun - which is obtained during the story, during the Cenote section - the lockpick and the ascender - which are bought from the travelling merchant first met in Paititi.
In order to find the merchant who sells these items, you have to do the mission "Find Takiy's Dice". You will meet her during this mission.
